Bio

Maybeshewill are instrumental act, who employ massive guitars, drums and electronics to create a intensely furious soundscape.

Maybeshewill hava toured the UK with Fight Fire With Water, Worriedaboutsatan, And So I Watch You From Afar and Cats and Cats and Cats (though not at the same time), toured Russia and Japan, played with the likes of Foals, Johnny Truant, This Will Destroy You, 65daysofstatic and Amusement Parks On Fire (as well as several hundred others), started their own record label, played the Dot To Dot, 2000trees, Truck, Hockley Hustle, Summer Sundae and Brainwash Festivals and been very bored in vans and on aeroplanes for a large proportion of their lives

TO THE SKIES FROM A HILLSIDE
The second bit of news is that Field Records will be releasing the first single from their third album to coincide with the tour. It’s entitled ‘To The Skies From A Hillside’ and we’re just in the process hammering out the finer details it will probably come in 7″ and digital form, with a selection of B-Sides. Artwork comes courtesy of Hannah Mosley and it will be recorded at two studio’s around Leicester with Maybeshewill's bassist Jamie Ward at the engineering helm.

Not For Want Of Trying + 4

We can now announce that Not For Want Of Trying + 4 (Essentially Not For Want Of Trying plus the Japanese Spy Transcript EP) will be released in the UK and Europe on the 25th October. Pre-Orders will be available shortly before, and the record will be available on all the Maybeshewill dates of the UK and European tours.

The first pressing of 'Not For Want Of Trying' has pretty much sold out apart from a few copies and we're just about to press the second batch and as a real treat the second press is going to include the 'Japanese Spy Transcript' EP which in the UK has only been available previously on a CDR release through Robotneedshome.

Maybeshewill to play Truck and Summer Sundae Festivals

Maybeshewill have been confirmed to play both the Truck (25th - 26th July) and Summer Sundae (14th - 16th August) Festivals. Truck takes place in Steventon near Oxford, whilst Summer Sundae is in the bands home town of Leicester, where they will be opening the main stage on Sunday morning.
